Business Consultant

Hybrid working

Our client, a leading software provider has a range of opportunities for Business Consultants of all levels. The Business Consultant should have experience of software implementations and ideally come from a wealth management background, although the latter is not essential. The Business Consultant’s responsibility will be to support our client’s product proposition and operating model throughout the implementation of their software package within Wealth Management clients. 

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills including knowledge of UML or other structured analysis method
  • Organised with the ability to plan and achieve outcomes
  • Clear communication style, whether written or oral, effective in presentations
  • Thorough knowledge of technology and the opportunities afforded by digital working methods
  • Consultative and an effective influencer
  • Ability to apply analytical skill and conceptual thinking to operations and system planning
  • Ability to collaborate with clients
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
  • Resilience including the ability to work effectively under time pressure
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Proven eagerness for continual personal development
  • Commercial awareness
  • Capable of working on-site at client office

Experience required:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business or technology consulting company or as part of a Change/Technology team
  • Experience of UK retail savings and investment products is beneficial
  • Experience of working within successful technology implementation programmes
