.NET Developer – Remote
We are working in partnership with a fantastic financial services company who are based in the heart of the City. Our client are a leading force in their sector and are a true global leader in what they do. The role is fully remote but the successful candidate must be prepared to travel to the office when it is required.
Purpose of the role
Application analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and support of a new externally facing solution, with full REST API integration capabilities. The role holder will be working in a fast-paced, delivery-focused team creating fit-for-purpose customer-accepted, deliverable solutions using the latest Azure DevOps tools.
Skills Required
Must have a solid grounding in complete system application development lifecycle, deployment, and support in the IT industry
Financial Services experience is a MUST ideally in the Insurance / re-insurance world
At least five years’ experience developing within most if not all the following technologies/protocols:
- C# .Net Core, API, REST
- Angular (LTS) – Typescript / SCSS
- Azure
- Appreciation of different microservices architecture particularly event driven and strong understanding of eventual consistency
- Automated testing
- SQL Server

The ideal candidate will possess the ability and drive to work independently without supervision and take ownership of assigned tasks. They should be able to demonstrate a passion for quality and pride in their work; an enquiring mind and the desire to constantly improve their skills and knowledge. There will be a degree of customer facing work and the candidate must be articulate and comfortable in discussion within their areas of expertise/responsibility.
