I have an exciting opportunity to join my clients IT Operations and Support team as a Desktop Support 3rd Line Technician.

Main responsibilities include:

* Resolving IT Service Desk Tickets
* Resolving Joiner/Mover/Leaver IT Service Desk Tickets
* Asset Management (Desktops/Laptops/Mobile Devices)
* Printer management
* Meeting room Audio Visual equipment maintenance (Cisco Video Conference Systems)
* IT Purchase order and supplier management
* Enhanced IT support for Senior Management
* Backup Management (Veeam 9.5 and Backup Exec 2014)
* Identifying and implementing improvements to raise user satisfaction and reduce manual effort.
* Creating SCCM Deployment Images and Packages
* Escalation point for IT Service Desk Support Team
* Mentoring 1st and 2nd Line Desktop Support
* Deputise for Desktop Team Leader

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Excellent interpersonal skills in handling contact with end-users, staff, customers and suppliers
* 4+ years working within Information Technology and supporting end users
* 3rd line Microsoft Desktop software knowledge (i.e. Exchange, Active Directory, SCCM)
* Experience working within a professional and busy IT Service Desk
* Ability to setup desks with user equipment (i.e. Monitors, Desktop, Telephone)

Desirable Skills and Experience:

* Knowledge of ISO27001 (Security) policies
* Any IT Technical accreditation e.g. MCSE, CCNA etc
* Working experience of ITIL processes and procedures
