End User Support Specialist

Our client is urgently looking for an experienced End User Support Specialist, to join their team on a permanent basis, near Old Street Station in London.

The End User Support Specialist will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be responsive and able to hit the ground running in order to maintain all end user equipment, as well as support each end user. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2-3 years’ experience in IT Desktop Support, to make the next step.

End User Support Specialist – Key Skills:

* Windows 10 Microsoft Surface Devices
* Windows 10 desktops
* Microsoft Office 2016
* Office 365 and G Suite productivity suites
* Document management system
* iPhones / iPads
* Telephone system
* Audiovisual meeting room equipment e.g. TVs, speakers

End User Support Specialist – Responsibilities:

* Support users with technical issues including occasional out-of-hours
* Equipment hardware/software maintenance
* Install new software
* Install and set up new equipment e.g. PCs, monitors
* Install/maintain desk cable-tidy solutions
* Troubleshoot issues to determine cause and resolution
* Escalate issues where necessary to the advanced remote support team
* Basic repairs of faulty equipment e.g. replacing faulty computer components
* User account management on Active Directory and other systems
* Daily backup media rotation
* Maintain system documentation & asset registers
* Maintain tidy/organised IT equipment storage
* Regular routine maintenance of meeting rooms and other equipment
* Track software license usage
* Assisting with budget management M
* anage and track assigned tasks and keep a log of work done
* Communicate regularly with manager on status and progress of work
* Accurate and detailed time recording is key
