Our client a multi-award winning company, have an exciting new position within their team as they are going through significant growth and investment. They are looking for an experienced Oracle Development Manager to work within the dedicated IT Systems team.
They are looking for a dynamic, proactive individual with exceptional leadership skills to join their team and are prepared to offer a highly attractive salary and package. They also have a Gold rating for Investors in people.
The role itself will be responsible for managing, supporting and developing the IT applications as well as managing the systems development team and providing a technical lead.
Key Technical skills/requirements
Experience leading a team of software developers.
Experience of working with Oracle databases.
Change management experience, able to plan and co-ordinate multiple complex change activities
Experience of developing MI reports using business reporting projects
Logical thinker with strong ability to problem solve.
The ability to work under own initiative and to strict deadlines.
Meticulous and thorough in approach and a good team player.
Ability to communicate technical details effectively and professionally with staff from all levels..
* Oracle APEX development experience.
* Experience of Windows and Linux platforms.
* Strong SQL skills, preferably using PL/SQL
* SAP Business Objects experience preferable.
* Systems and UAT testing.
* Exposure to Agile and/or traditional development methodologies and lifecycles preferred.
* Microsoft SQL Server knowledge desirable.
* Previous experience of working in a Financial Institution preferred.
