The Project Manager defines, plans and manages deliverables for assigned initiative(s) or work streams as part of larger project(s). Projects or initiatives managed are typically of a size where the complexity is known and they are delivered largely within a division. Ensures that the project or initiatives produce the required deliverables to the agreed standard of quality and within the specified constraints of cost, risk and time

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

* You will need to demonstrate a passion for delivery, a track record of high performance, and personal success that drives the company spirit.
* Work closely with the Service Delivery Managers, Technical Teams and the Service Desk in Service Transitions
* Engage, where appropriate, with the sales teams and Clients to assist with the closure of key opportunities that require PMO engagement
* Implements and maintains a consistent project management methodology, ensuring project conforms to appropriate framework & governance, including completion and submission of all documentation, at the required milestones
* Identifies dependencies with other business initiatives/activities
* Manages all project communications, including attendance of customer meetings
* Management of project escalation

Typical Knowledge and Experience

* Working knowledge of project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
* Working knowledge of project planning processes, techniques and methodologies
* Stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict management skills and ability to identify and escalate issues
* Ability to understand and manage project risks – dealing with uncertainty, whilst being proactive and forward-looking
* Understanding of core business objectives and drivers
* Demonstrable experience of project management in a multi-disciplined and commercial environment
* Has a recognised industry qualification, such as PRINCE 2, APMP
* Appreciation of ITIL methodology and qualification to Foundation level preferred
