WMS Support Specialist

Our client who are a globally recognised name have an opportunity for a specialist within the WMS world to come and join them on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for the support of the clients Manhattan WMS and will be the SME for this area. You will be tasked with providing a high level of support to the client and its distribution centres.

Role responsibilities:

* Provide 2nd line IT support for Manhattan within the business
* Undertake the role in-line with the company and department values.

* As part of the 2 nd Line Support Team you will provide a collaborative and proactive Support Service working within an ITIL framework.
* Triage, identify incidents and apply work arounds

* Triage, identify underlying issues and create problem tickets for technical escalation.
* Continually evaluate how incidents can be reduced, through smarter ways of working, root cause analysis, user training etc etc
* Involvement in Project work as required

Skills required:

* Proven experience of supporting Manhattan WMS
* ITIL V3 Foundation Certified or 2 years’ experience of working to ITIL processes
* Good Technical skills and a desire to further develop them
* Good Incident Management skills, logical and analytical approach to problem analysis and proven problem solving skills
* Experience using a call logging systems, such as Assyst, JIRA etc.
* Knowledge of SQL and XML (preferred)
* Strong problem analysis skills, trend analysis and resolution.
* Provide out of hours support through an on-call rota
* Support the business via an agreed shift pattern from 7am – 7pm Monday to Friday, excluding English bank holidays.
