Senior DBA – 11669HS

We are seeking an experienced Senior Database Administrator to support critical enterprise applications within a fast-paced, cloud-focused environment. This is a fully remote EU-based opportunity, offering the chance to work across modern database platforms and emerging AI-driven technologies.

You will be responsible for managing and optimising database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the organisation. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot complex issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to cloud and automation initiatives.

Working within a collaborative technical team, you will support both OLTP and OLAP systems, manage disaster recovery processes, and play a key role in database migrations from on-premise to cloud environments. You’ll also engage with stakeholders across technical and business teams, providing insight into data-driven solutions.

Key Skills

• 6–8+ years Database Administration experience (SQL Server essential)
• Strong experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL
• Proven troubleshooting, performance tuning, and optimisation expertise
• AWS and/or Azure certifications (MANDATORY)
• Experience with cloud database environments and migrations
• Strong T-SQL and scripting capabilities
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, and security best practices
• Exposure to automation, AI-driven tooling, or data platforms (desirable)
